A very warm welcome awaits you at Heddfan, a very wonderfully renovated and beautifully decorated cottage situated in the lovely seaside village of Llansteffan. It has everything you need for a Family getaway, the Welcome pack starts your stay the right way and is a fantastic personal touch. the cottage itself is lovely and cozy especially for a winter stay with the log fire. we cant wait to return here for another stay. Martin and Craig are fantastic Hosts.

The two of us and the dog spent a lovely and very relaxing week at Heddfan at the beginning of October. The cottage, down a quiet lane, is very comfortable, compact without being cramped and stylishly decorated throughout. Electric heaters warmed up the place first thing as needed, and the woodburning stove kept it (and us) toasty warm in the evenings. A good amount of starter logs were supplied, as well as a very generous and thoughtful welcome pack of food and drink. We tend to cook meals in rather than go to the pub for food when on holiday, and the kitchen area was well-equipped for that. The TV had plenty of channels and the usual streaming services, and phone and wi-fi reception were fine. The double bed was comfortable, although we found the stylish bedside lamps werent that great for reading in bed (and I would add, be aware that the stairs are steep and curve round, and there is no handrail of any sort, so nothing to hold on to if you go downstairs to the bathroom in the night). The cottage is only a few minutes walk from a fabulous broad and sandy beach and some beautiful coastal walks and amazing views, so just what we needed for a relaxing break, and paradise for the dog in particular. The small village shop up the road sells the basics if needed, plus the Sunday papers and excellent sourdough bread. All in all it is a wonderful cottage in a great location, and I would recommend it for a holiday.
