Visited recently. Sat on a bench overlooking the estuary and ate the loveliest cod and chips from the takeaway in the car park (The batter on the cod wasnt too greasy, thin and crispy) Then walked along the beach with the dog. Watched the passenger boat drive up onto the sand. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Great place for families, clean beach, play park, toilets, walk up to the castle. Great that they have an outside tap by the toilets, for cleaning wellies or getting a drink for the dog! Just all round lovely!

Great seaside resort with plenty of free parking right on the beach with free toilet facilities. The walk to the castle was a little taxing and may prove difficult for some but the advantages of visiting Llansteffan castle are it's free entry and the views from there are spectacular. We visited in winter when it was cold but dry, my daughter's dog loved running on the beach as did my Grandchildren and there's a lovely small play area right on the beach which was ideal. Sadly the various food venues weren't open but on my visit with my partner on the weekend the small tea room was open where we had a cream tea but sadly in my second visit in the same week this tea room was closed so I'm assuming they only open on the weekend sadly. Overall a lovely place and I definitely intend visiting in the warmer weather.
