Brenig Cottage Escapes

Our daughter booked your wonderful cottage for a special family weekend away. It was idealic....spotlessly clean, beautiful furniture and decorations. It was equipped with everything anyone would require. The hot tub was amazing ...and regularly checked and monitored for cleanliness. The surrounds of the cottage are stunning too! Iona and her husband were so welcoming and eager to help with anything! We had a terrific weekend..very privileged..thank you!!!

Me and my family stayed here or a few nights over Christmas. The cottage was beautifully decorated with care and thought given to the fact we would be there for Christmas Day. The kitchen is fully equipped and we made a full Christmas Dinner with the facilities available. We had three children with us and the hot tub was a great addition that we could use when they had all gone to bed! The surrounding area is quite simply stunning and having a view of the farm in bed was breath-taking. The older kids also really enjoyed the games room which kept them entertained for hours. I would highly recommend this cottage for a getaway for families and couples.

Amazing few days away at this beautiful cottage nestled in the countryside just outside Denbigh. We were lucky enough to get lots of snow which made the experience of sitting outside in the wood fired hot tub even more magical.The views from the bedroom windows are amazing. Nothing but fields, trees, sheep etc as far as the eye can see. The cottage is very well-equipped and we were provided with lots of local products to try including coffee, welsh cakes, dog treats and beautiful toiletries. We were also given tons of wood for the log burner and hot tub; the weather was very cold and didn't get above 0C the whole time but we still had lots of logs left. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated/furnished. The attention to detail was obvious, with lots of lovely extras like bathrobes, slippers and blankets. I would recommend bringing a multi socket or small extension lead for the master bedroom. There is a fab Smart TV in there but there is only one single power socket behind, so if you wanted to use a fire stick or games console there is nowhere to plug it in that is close enough to the TV. This is only a tiny thing and did not affect our enjoyment of the cottage at all. We just used our fire stick downstairs where there was a double socket behind the Smart TV. The WiFi did not struggle at all to cope with 4 of us using it plus our fire stick streaming films etc so it would definitely be good enough for working from home. Overall the Cottage is delightful. Cosy, stylish and lots of original features like beams, inglenook fireplace etc. We absolutely loved it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
