Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Amazing views. We have been in lots of different cottages in Wales but this is by far the best. Village residents are all friendly. There is also a local spar, fantastic butchers, the village pub The Handinn is very welcoming and friendly. I don't want to go home!!! Can't wait to come back at Christmas

This cottage has the most wonderful tiered garden that goes down to the river, ideal for a glass of wine and relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Unfortunately the village has seen a rapid decline in 2019. The Plough is now shut as is the chippy. The Hand does not do food and the Wynnstay only does food at the weekend. The village is now very quiet. Hopefully it will recover. We personally found the beds in the cottage uncomfortable but otherwise the accommodation is ok but only ok.
