        First visit to the Britannia Inn and long overdue as I've been told by so many people to try it. I was not disappointed and enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever had.

        Great setting and managed to accommodate our walking group of17 lads for the evening. Food was hit and miss - the duck entree was more like pulled duck, measly portion and little taste, the lamb shoulder was tasty but strangely served, just cut up pieces of lamb rather than carved slices, the crme brl was delicious - each course got better !
