Mountain View Boarding Kennels

Our three dogs had their first weekend holiday at Mountain View recently and we are absolutely delighted that, despite a couple of "hiccups" with our puppy who has a neurological deficit that can present with behavioural challenges, all went very well and they had a whale of a time. Jason and Anna were calm, supportive, and understanding of his needs which is really ressuring for us as dedicated owners. The regular pupdate photos on Facebook are a Godsend and I awaited the upload every evening to see them with noses down and tails up walking on the land, clearly having a great time. We are already booked for several more weekends across the year and have no qualms about leaving our precious pack in their diligent care. Special diets and special needs are not a problem and you can rest assured that this couple will take the best care of your dogs, leaving you free to take time out without worrying about their welfare. This Kennel was recommended to me by a close friend, we recently left our Pug Gizmo here for 2 nights while we went away. We are very pleased with the care that Gizmo was given and the monitoring of him due to him not being away from us for more than one night in the past. The updates on him over Whatsapp and seeing the pictures of him on a walk on Facebook reassured us this is the place to leave your pet for peace of mind it will be looked after with the best care while you are away. We will of course leave Gizmo with Anna & Jason again and highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks Again.

I'm so happy I found this place for my two dogs after searching for a suitable place for years. What I like about it, is that it is very personal and not too many kennels in the building, which is great when you have an anxious/nervous dog because the overall atmosphere is more relaxed. The kennels are spacious, clean and each have their own outdoor space. Anna and Jason are lovely, professional and polite. They take the dogs from the same household on individual walks on their beautiful smallholding and additionally give them each their own time in their securely fenced in paddock. Also, thank you both for accommodating Mogy's complicated feeding schedule for his stomach issues, I really appreciate that!

Our dog, Nala, loved her stay at Mountain View. We were a little concerned about how she would cope in kennels but we had nothing to worry about. We would thoroughly recommend Mountain View Kennels.

Our three dogs recently stayed for the first time at Mountain View. We met prior to booking to chat about our youngest dog, who has a neurological deficit and needs an eye keeping on him, and our eldest dog who has special dietary needs and they put our minds at ease that this wouldn't be a problem for them. We dropped them off in a lovely large, clean, kennel and run and they settled right in. Regular daily pupdates on the Facebook page meant we had reassurance that they were being well cared for and walked in the expanse of fields or hooning around in the lovely enclosed paddock attached to the kennel block. We looked forward every evening to the photos, which really helped us know that they were fine. Their first stay proved to be a positive one and we already have several more dates booked for 2023, safe in the knowledge that our dogs will be kindly and diligently cared for.... peace of mind is priceless :-) Thank you Jason and Anna - the gingers will see you again soon :-)
