        Stayed one night as I was working in the area, was a great night sleep and such a lovely little town! The rooms was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only slight issue I had was the TV! I was so happy to finally see a smart TV in a hotel so I could actually cast and watch whatever I wanted but no the TV was slow and would crash constantly, soon as I got my YouTube video up it would crash and switch back to free view same with netflix I could only keep running for a few minutes.

        Vegetarian options: They didnt know I dont eat meat as there were plenty of choices on the menu but they brought an amuse bouche which was pork so I said no to this. They very quickly brought me an alternative veggie one which I didnt expect and it was excellent. The whole meal was fantastic and on a par with many Michelin starred places we have visited, great to have something this good in Powys at last!

        Last minute 1 night stay at The Trewythen was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room Great Oak was lovely, very spacious and clean. Dinner was exceptional, amazing flavours and quality ingredients. A very nice touch when the apprentice chef came and spoke to us. Breakfast was also extremely good and the service was wonderful.
