Small mud/gravel parking area just off the road. Wide gravel forestry paths and off-shoot tracks, great for quiet dog walks alongside a stream below. Pools of frog spawn, boggy areas in the woods and an area nearby is protected for Great Crested Newts. Info can be found on Natural Resources Wales foresty website about main tracks and closures etc. I'd recommend checking, as NRW sometimes close areas for logging and safety. Dog-friendliness: Open paths for well-behaved dogs to roam. Can mostly see other walkers for a distance. Fairly quiet except for dog walkers.

Very nice and quiet. Recently though we've got ambushed by a gang. Of cows. And some bulls. They've decided to join us for a while as we strolled down the dirt road until cattle grid has parted us... And they stared at us. Really unnerving.
