I was very disappointed as I met my son in law and family. We had no where to park so we went into Llangranog central car park, when trying to pay for the car park, the ticket machine wouldn't take our money so we followed the instructions and to pay by phone, however, there was no signal. Nothing said we had only 10mins to pay. This was all on New Years day, loads of people had the same idea and, like us, they we trying to get signals to pay. It was lovely seeing the family but we will never go back there again because a couple of weeks later, we all received penalty notices demanding 60 which if not paid in 2 weeks of the event, i.e. immediately, the fine rose to 100 + collection expenses. Failure to pay resulting in action being taken to criminalise us for staying there without paying. I have a disabled blue badge but there was no free disabled paking. As this was supposed to be a lovely day with the family, it's left a bitter taste, and sadly even though I have had over 65 years of happy memories of visiting family, now deceased, and taking my children and grandchildren to Llangranog, I will never go back there. This unfair parking nonsense has spoiled the place for me l.
