Had the lamb Sunday roast. Nicest roast Ive ever had. Big portion. Lovely pints and warm cosy atmosphere. Excellent hosts and service!

Great family own pub, I strongly recommend their in house made pies. We were camping nearby and we order them two days in a row, dont regret it. Everyone was super friendly. They have board games and a chimney.

Superb local pub run by a wonderful family. Excellent food, drinks and company every time we visit. If in the area you really must visit and enjoy the experience.

We would recommend staying in the castle inn to everyone, not only are Mike and Michelle such amazing people who own this pub, but the rooms have absolutely everything you could possibly need, if you forget something then you dont need to worry as there is everything that you could think of right down to cotton buds, hand cream, nail files. Toothbrush, and so much more, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable, the bedrooms are beautifully decorated with such comfortable beds, this place is better than some hotels that we have stayed in and well 100% definitely be going back there, also the scenery around here is beautiful, theres so much to do and see, and thank you so much to Mike and Michelle for making us feel welcome
