Tall Johns Weddings

We had an amazing Easter wedding at Tall John's House. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, a perfect setting for a wedding. We stayed for four nights at the venue which gave us plenty of time to set-up and then to unwind after the wedding. I have two pieces of advice to future couples looking to get married here: 1. Don't try to go it alone! As it's a DIY venue you have to do absolutely everything. We had Laura Beth help us out with on day co-ordination and couldn't have done it without her. 2. We had some issues with communication between front and back of house. Ensure you have everyone in the conversations when decisions are being made so that nothing gets 'miscommunicated'. Other than that it is a gorgeous venue and you can have an absolutely fabulous wedding here filled with amazing memories.

Tall Johns was a fantastic wedding venue giving us flexibility to plan our day our own way. Archie was so accomodating and helpful on the day and all our guests were made to feel welcome . The venue provided a beautiful backdrop to our autumn wedding and all our guests commented on how beautiful the setting was. All our guests had accomodation which was spacious and clean with excellent facilities. I didn't catch the name of the lady making our breakfast but should have because she was friendly and breakfast was lovely. Would do it all again in a heartbeat. Can honestly recommend tall johns for anyone's wedding.

Our Wedding at Tall Johns was absolutely perfect. Archie and the team were fantastic at making our big day as smooth as possible. The venue and location are absolutely stunning. We could not recommend highly enough!!
