Lakeside Caravan Park at Llangorse Lake

Absolutely love this place. I've been coming here on and off for 20 years. My parents brought me and my children first in their caravan. The facilities have improved year on year. Always clean toilets and plenty of hot showers. Bins emptied regularly and staff on hand should any problems arise. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and the walks are breathtaking. It's lovely to hear the horses, ducks and geese at night and if your into stargazing this is definitely the place for you. We've booked to come in May and again in August . Nearby activities: Loads to do but I was there for fishing. Walkability: A short walk to the village Food & drinks: Both the Village pubs were excellent. Great beer and food. There is also an excellent bar on--site

What a great experience from start to finish. Easy booking system and an online check-in, so no faffing around when you get there, you can go straight to your pitch! The shower/toilet blocks are excellent, so nice and warm and really good, powerful showers. And they were always really clean. Plenty of space on your pitch. The facilities for waste disposal, drinking water and washing up were all very well catered for and again, very clean areas. The location is fantastic, right near the lake. Plenty of great walks and a short walk in to the village which has pubs and a great little local shop (as well as the shop on site). There is also a caf on site with great food and good selection of drinks. I'd recommend a horse riding experience at Ellesmere which is a 5 minute walk away, I had my very first ride experience and they were really considerate and encouraging!
