Ellesmere Riding & Trekking Centre

i had a favulous time thank you to Myfanwy and team. Day 1 was very wet but we still had an enjoyable ride up to the access land with a canter across the moor. On days 2 and 3 the sun was shining and we rode to lookout for photos and wonderful views over Llangorse lake. The horses were eager this trekking centrewell cared for. GOOD COMPETENT riders beware! We spoke to Mfanway quite a few times before confirming our booking to say what experienced riders we were - and how we were looking for a centre that could give us 2 days of fast riding. We were assured this was quite possible. On Day 1 we had a very inexperienced young guide who couldn't control her own horse and we walked almost the entire day as a result! Our second day was better. A partial refund was promised by cheque to compensate for the first day but it was apparently lost in the post and has never arrived despite much chasing. We will certainly not be going back and would not recommend this centre to anyone.
