I've read some of the excellent reviews and I must say that we must have got them on a bad day. We both agreed that these were some of the worst pies we'd ever had. We both had the lamb and mint pies. The pastry was dry, the filling was dry with no hint of mint at all and I was unfortunate enough to have all the flavouring in one little corner of the pie, which was too salty. It was one of those times where one wished one hadn't eaten it all, but I guess we were hoping that it would improve. We both left a big chunk of the pastry though. I'll certainly never go back for more.

wow what great place to grab some nice food right in the centre off the town and with the fast flowing river just down the road its a must if you are the area

Got a black pudding Scot egg and a chilli sausage roll both absolutely lovely. There perfect if you like spicy things like me.
