This was probably the best brake away Iv had in a long time the weather was against me but nevertheless I didn't mind one bit ..we stayed warm and cozy in the yurt ..it was tip top with everything spotless..the facilities were amazing..the privi was only a few steps away for us and the main toilet block and kitchen immaculate..with a little relaxing chicken shack to sit out to embrace the scenery and the wildlife..the owners are fabulous and helpful and friendly..it was absolutely Fabulous. Will most definitely be going back

Stayed end of September 2022. On the way over it was just sheet rain all the way so we were travelling with some trepidation! But we got there and the rain had stopped all was well. We stayed in the shepherds hut and despite looking small it was a great little space with everything you need. The bed was comfier than our own at home! The hosts were amazing and kept us stocked up with firewood all through the weekend. We travelled with family who stayed in the yurt and the tent and I must say the Chicken Shack was our favourite place. We gathered, we ate, we drank, we laughed!! What more can you want. We left rested and already talking about returning next year!
