        Received unsolicited call from this firm, upon ringing back, receptionist had no idea why I had been called. Thick as the proverbial! Number blocked as I have no dealings with anyone in this area of the country. Totally inept.

        Extremely slow conveyancing, e.g. it took over a month to get the draft contract after offer accepted. Then a simple search request took over a month. We chased after 3 weeks and found that the conveyancer in question hadn't even performed the search and was going on holiday for a week without the seller's knowledge which made them and us furious. 3 months into the process (whilst our solicitor had completed his searches) this solicitor had not even started the searches for the seller's purchase. We had to threaten to pull out of the purchase because it was absolutely ridiculous how long he was taking. The property sale fell through in the end higher up the chain but could have easily gone through if this solicitor was not so slow.
