*You can see the owner angrily - and very professionally - replying to Google reviews insisting it isn't a pub however it looks like a pub, has informal outdoor seating (not a beer garden I'm sure) and a large, pub-like bar. In any case, it's very normal to be able to go to a hotel bar/restaurant just for drinks! Interesting business model and you'd think that an establishment trying to sell themselves only as a high-end restaurant would be able to muster up more than a 4 food hygiene rating!
Edited to say the owner doesn't seem to have quite grasped the concept of reviews, nor of sarcasm.
