Lovely views from the upstairs living space and charming character of the converted barn. The living area in the owl cottage is well set out and a cosy relaxed space to spend time with family. There were some downsides unfortunately. Very annoying that you have to put change in the electricity meter. The crockery was dirty and cracked (teapot leaked) and furniture broken (foot stool castors broken and twin beds springs gone). Lack of soap and stingey on the tea bags and toilet paper. No coffee and no milk. So after a long journey to get there you have to get back in the car to collect the basics. Overall it was OK but lacked that special holiday feel.
