Aberglasney and its gardens is a very special place. A place of calm and serenity. It is always a joy to visit as Joseph the head gardener and his team provide a succession of luscious plants to enjoy through all the seasons. There are formal gardens as well as the wild areas below and above the main house. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the cafe serves a range of sandwiches and salads. If the Perl las (blue Welsh cheese) quiche salad is available. Do indulge - it is delicious. The classic main house often has local craft displays and additional area with tropical plants. If you are lucky enough to stay in one of the lovely traditional onsite cottages, you will have the chance to walk the gardens and enjoy it to yourself. Be the lord or lady of the manor. This is a real treat! What more can I say. It is a hidden gem and well worth the visit. Be sure and bring some plants home too from the well-stocked shop.

A truly beautiful series of gardens with an interesting history and a quaint tea garden. I highly recommend visiting, especially in the early summer when most of the gardens are in bloom.

Beautiful. It's a shame the manor house is almost derelict - this place could and woukd be a perfect manor hotel wedding type of business. Well worth a visit and you must try the lemon and poppy seed cake
