Very pleasant food at the caf (and excellent service). Splendid views from terrace. Didn't go into the gardens, but a friend, who did, loved it. The house itself is amazing - a real feel for the Williams-Ellis home and a chance to see a brilliant book collection.

An enjoyable garden to visit, even without the Clough Williams-Ellis history. A pleasant place to chill, and lunch in the cafe excellent. A gentle walk up to the Tower gives fine views. Well worth a visit, especially if you combine with a visit to Portmeirion Village.

Beautiful gardens so well looked after, can't wait to return and will love to visit the cafe when it's open again (Easter I think).
