Granar Gynolwyn

We came across this fantastic campsite by chance and my word how lucky we were! This small, immaculately kept site is perfect for scenery, peace and quiet and easy access to the Snowdonia National Park and coastal towns such as Tywyn, Aberdovey and Barmouth. The facilities are excellent when considering just how few pitches there are with a great toilet and shower room which were spotless. There is a chemical waste point, recycling and fresh water supply. We were able to connect our motorhome directly to the water tap before parking on our pitch. Stayed in the cottage, which was absolutely gorgeous and right next to a beautiful lazy river. Well stocked kitchen (literally has everything you could possibly need!) , and a beautiful romantic location for couples. Hot shower (although incredibly noisy ) and plenty of parking for our van. We hiked Cadair Idris right from the front door and Coed Y Brennin bike centre was within easy driving distance which made for a fab day out. The farm is lovely and we enjoyed watching the adorable new born lambs from the dining room window. The owner of the cottage was lovely and checked to see if everything was OK after we had settled. We also loved our little welcome basket Happy Easter and thankyou for a lovely stay!
