If you have taken the trouble in finding the castle, a few minutes down the road is this treasure.

Awesome little church located near Cader Idris and Castell y Bere. No regular services, but visitors are welcome to visit. In the Vestry there is a model of Dyssini Valley, which was made by group of local people and exhibition and Quilt commemorating the life of Mary Jones, who walked barefoot to Bala to obtain a Welsh language bible. The nearest cafe for refreshments can be found in the Abergynolwyn village or at the Talyllyn railway station. There is public toilet just across the road from church. No much parking though. We have parked just outside of the church.
