Never again would I stay here. Oven socket went bang the first night, sparked everywhere and was told to turn it off at the mains and he will have an electrician out to fix it, he never turned up, was told lies every day this week that he would arrive but never did. He was told there was 5 young children in the house and we needed a way of cooking food but not one effort was made to get this fixed for us, the house is in the middle of no where so its not as easy to just pop out and get stuff. We had planned our meals out for the week but most had to go in the bin before we left!! This has been booked for 2 years for my father in laws 60th so we were all really looking forward to this, I would hate for anyone else to book this for a special occasion, you may get lucky but its not worth the risk. The state of the house is awful, blood on the duvet, sockets loose, mould throughout the house, broken glass and rubbish all over the outside areas, empty gas canisters, broken hose pipes, not enough seats for the size of the house, 6 glasses to cater for a house this size, when we arrived there was old food all over the kitchen floor, smashed windows, disposable bbq left in garden, hot tub was only checked one day and not filled, only one bedroom tv works and no others, radiators hanging off the wall, broken beds, broken drawers, cobwebs everywhere, old grass cuttings in garden which attract hundreds of wasps, no bin or toilet brush in upstairs toilet, plug socket hanging outside window, fridge leaking brown liquid, all the fridge trays were broken the list is endless!! It is definitely not deep cleaned to covid regulations. I have taken pictures and sent to the company I booked with so they can at least let future bookings know! I hate leaving bad reviews and if the owner would have sorted the oven I may have let a lot of it slide but if you are going to leave a house full of people with a fire hazard and no means of cooking a meal for 14 people you shouldnt be renting it out! The one star is just for the clean towels and view behind the garden! Avoid at all costs l

Would not recommend, There was cobwebs everywhere with lots of tiny flies everywhere. There was food leftover in cupboards from previous guest. There was no cutting board or decent knives. There were no curtains in the main bedroom with only blinds that let in lots of light. There were bloodstains and black mould on the pillows. There was a broken bed which I fell through and bumped my head. There was no one to meet us to give us instructions of things like waste disposal or recycling and there was no written information either. The hot tub was dirty with a greasy layer around the edges. The couch was very uncomfortable and the mattress on the double bed had sunk in the middle.
