If I could give a higher star rating I would. Marilyn and Ifor are so welcoming and go beyond all expectations in making all guests feel welcome. The cottages are beautiful, peaceful and the location is ideal. From the moment you turn off the main road leading up through the picturesque archway of trees, the quaint cottages with every amenity possible and most importantly the warmest welcome anyone could wish for. Fantastic, friendly, warm and welcoming hosts and home from home cottages.

Absolutely amazing! Marilyn and Ifor are so lovely, helpful and welcoming - we really couldn't have asked for more. Derwen cottage is beautiful inside and out. Immaculately clean, comfortable, well equipped with everything we could have needed for a fabulous holiday here. Close to Aberystwyth but peaceful and beautiful. The meadow for walking our collie in the morning and evening was an added bonus. The milk, bread, butter and biscuits etc. were a lovely touch too. So highly recommended.

Lovely, well equipped, exceptionally clean, comfortable cottage. Marilyn and Ifor gave us such a warm welcome we felt relaxed and instantly in holiday mode. Lovely, kind people and very helpful. We stayed in Derwen cottage which was lovely. Its very well equipped, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Large, sumptuous sofas and fantastic views from 2 double patio doors. You can watch the beautiful sunsets from the sofa or the large patio or walk up the meadow for the lovely views over Cardigan Bay. Upstairs the large bedroom, again with lovely views, had a super-king bed with soft white bedding. The sparkling clean shower room is really spacious as is the shower, with toiletries provided and fluffy,white towels. Wonderful to step out of the garden gate and straight into the meadow with lovely views of Pen Dinas and the sea. Once darkness falls the lack of light pollution provides a clear night sky for planet and star gazing and I loved listened to the owls! On wet days there are plenty of interesting books and magazines to read, large TV and very good Wi-Fi. Fantastic country location yet you have easy access to Aberystwyth and the nearby coastal towns or inland to Cambrian mountains or the southern parts of Snowdonia National Park. Highly recommended and we are already planning our next visit before the cottages are booked up.
