Fantastic!! This was our first visit to Anglesey as a family with two girls aged 9 & 11. After a very long 7 hour journey we arrived at Brynteg reception where we met the lovely Sally who promptly gave us all the info we needed and then we set off to explore our Geodome (Daisy). The Geodome is like a massive tent with the luxury of heating, electric, shower, toilet, kitchen & hot tub. We were really pleased. Plenty of living space & storage..& for me, a must, was that it was clean! Towels & bedding provided. The fridge plenty big enough though theres no freezer compartment (but there is communal freezer which we used for ice etc). We didnt use the microwave oven but managed well with the hob for basic cooking. Also theres a gas BBQ outside but we didnt make use of it as we brought a Ooni portable pizza oven which we fired up instead. There are plenty of local options for food and drink. On the first night we tried the local chippy (The Golden Fry) but be warned, it was massively popular and we had to wait quite a while (its an award winning chippy). You can click and collect and when we come again well be sure to do that as the food was fab! The wood fired hot tub was also fab, though it does take a bit of getting used to. It can take a while to heat up so dont waste your time trying to get it going if youre struggling just ask. Sally is a pro! The hot tub is uses fresh water, no chemicals, so the water was changed every few days to keep it fresh. It can get too hot, but theres a hose pipe which you can use to top it up and cool it down if necessary. Once its hot the heat stayed in well and only a small fire was needed to top up the heat. When we had the water refreshed Sally kindly heated it up with a fancy portable pool heater she uses. We absolutely loved the hot tub, so much so that we may consider getting our own! Although we werent using the other facilities as we had everything in the Geodome we went to have a look and everything was clean & adequate. Theres a BBQ hut which we almost used as while we were there storm Noah made an appearance with 50-60mph winds and lashing rain and snow!! What an experience that was!! The Geodome coped well and we felt safe and warm with the wood burner roaring though I did need ear plugs to sleep.. that wind! Our girls loved it. Oh and a Hot tub in a storm, fantastic! Anglesey is a wonderful Island and there is soooooo much to do we only scratched the surface. Beautiful beaches, restaurants, boat trips, coastal walks. We also really enjoyed a tour of Halen Mon salt factory and are now salt snobs! We still have loads to do when we return in the summer. Brynteg is a great location to access all of the island. For our first experience of glamping we would highly recommend staying at Brynteg. We have booked to return in the summer. Cant wait!

These Geodomes are great. Not only do they remind me of an evil villains lair, they have hot tubs! It wasn't a hot tub time machine but it was nice and toasty thanks to Sally getting the fire going for us before arrival. A great place to sit under the stars and discuss world domination! Escobar junior loved it. The domes are spacious and have a lovely clean bathroom. The double beds are comfy. It's a great location for exploring Ynys Mon and Gwynedd. There's also a resident cat who comes along to say hello, as well as dogs and red squirrels (real red squirrels, not a codename for spies!)

Disappointed. I am wondering why the majority of the reviews are not a true representative of the place! Hot tub is disappointing. Either too hot(boiling) or cold. Not adjustable. Needs too much effort and frequent testing. We used to make the fire, spend time on it, and after 3 hours, it wasnt hot. Later when we came to check , it was 50 degree. Im not surprised because its a traditional hot tub and not really convenient. I didnt find it clean as well as I couldnt smell chlorine. The site is not amazing. No walking path. Too many maintenance and work. I couldnt find a path to walk through. We drove to find nice places and we never could find any nice scenery around the site to walk to. Im just happy that the site was about 15 min to lovely beaches by car. Very small room. Put a foldable bed instead of a big double bed in the middle that occupies the whole room space
