Escape to Anglesey is a wonderful slice of Heaven....far from the madding crowd, but close enough to Benlech to pop in and get supplies. Sally and Charles enthusiasm and attention to detail, shines through the whole property. The surrounding countryside is undulating and verdant, and is a perfect rest from busy lives. Rach and I have been returning like swallows to the island for 30 years...and i can honestly say we have never been in nicer accomodation and surroindings

Lovely, dog-friendly shepherds hut in a quiet location and just a short drive from Benllech (with it's great chippy). We arrived on a stormy night with strong winds and rain but the wood burning stove made it really lovely and cosy inside. The hut interior is to a really high standard (oak floor, granite worktops, induction hobs) and there's a good electric power shower. Altho there's no TV, there is a radio with bluetooth and tbh we enjoyed having a break from the screen and the wi fi signal was good enough for streaming. The owners Sally and Charles made us feel really welcome and helped with recommendations when we were getting a takeaway from a nearby Indian restaurant. The hut sits in a paddock of land so we had plenty of space to walk our dog first/last thing in the day and it's very safe for anyone being careful about covid. There are also lots of dog-friendly beaches nearby, including our favourite, Lligwy. Overall, highly recommended and really looking forward to our next stay.
