Conti's Cafe

Great little cafe with very good coffee and a nice selection of cakes. Pleasant seating area, relaxed and comfy. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Love it, really nice cup of tea. A lovely scone and huge amounts of iced cream for the girls. We've found a nice place to go when we want to have a treat. Such friendly staff as well. Kid-friendliness: Lots of iced cream, who can ask for more with kids!

Although staying a 25 minute drive away from the location of Contis Cafe, we chose to make the journey and sample the coffee which had been personally recommended to us, and after reading the positive reviews. Before making the journey, we checked the official website, Google and Facebook for the opening hours to ensure it would not be a wasted journey. You can imagine the frustration upon arriving to see that the cafe was closed! This was despite the displayed hours showing that the cafe should be open. There was a sign on the door explaining that takeaway coffee was available, even though the shop looked closed. I rang the Ring doorbell to ensure I wasnt missing anything, yet there was still no answer. I do not like to leave negative reviews for businesses, but on this occasion the disappointment and frustration felt by my family has meant that I had to make the business and other potential customers aware so that it may save wasted time and effort in making a special journey to visit this business.
