Harmony Lodge

We recently stayed at Harmony Lodge and it was fantastic! There was 6 of us, four adults and two kids. The accommodation was excellent, lots of space and great facilities, a real 'Home from Home'. It was ideal for us, as it was all on one level so no stairs to worry about. All the rooms were really clean and neat and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all the things you could need for self-catering and there was even a dishwasher. The outside space was brilliant for the children, plenty of secret gardens to explore and seating for the us adults to relax on. Great views, peace and quiet to hear the birds and enjoy nature. There was also a great BBQ and a fun fire pit which we really enjoyed using, lighting fires to toast our marshmallows on. We wish we could have stayed longer, I would highly recommend it. The only thing I would say is that the shower is a wet room so I would advise taking a rubber mat with you as the floor can get slippery. It would also be good if a grab rail was fitted. Apart from that it was lovely, wonderful holiday, thankyou.

We had the AMAZING time at Harmony Lodge. On the first night our 3 year old son described the place as awesome which is when we knew we had booked the right place. Nick and Carol have created a wonderful holiday home, with well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious living and dining room, and well kept grounds/gardenwe felt like we were at home but in Wales with beautiful views from inside and out on the veranda, whatever the weather. Nick and Carol made our stay memorable, they organised massages onsite for me and my husband and they were very thoughtful in tailoring our welcome pack to our dietary requirements: cold beers were waiting for my husband, apple juice for my little one and a birthday cake for me! The location was perfect for us, we visited many of the places recommended on Harmony Lodge website and others but our favourite were: Aberdyfi Beach, Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall and the chocolate workshop at Corris Craft Centre. No matter how much we have liked a cottage we have never thought about returning to it again but we felt different about Harmony Lodge and cannot wait to return! We highly recommend Harmony Lodge to anyone looking for a tranquil place to unwind, enjoy nature, and with hosts who are so helpful and friendly. Thank you Nick and Carol for welcoming us xxx

I spent a week here with my family and friends. With unbelievable views of the rolling Welsh countryside to wake up to every day, this was the perfect spot to base our "staycation". The lodge is fantastic, spacious, with all of amenities needed to keep you fed and entertained for your stay. It's a great place to bring children, with a secret woodland trail on site, complete with a couple of tree swings. We were able to use the BBQ thanks to some great weather and watch the sun go down while watching the logs burn on the fire pit. From the second we stepped out of the car, we immediately felt relaxed and at home. Carol and Nick are fantastic hosts. Happy to leave you to you to enjoy your holiday, but always happy to have a friendly chat when passing by. In short this is a great place to be if looking for a break in the UK.
