What a gem, lovely relaxing place, owners fantastic nothing too much, play facilities for children regardless of weather. Clean comfortable accommodation all you need. The place is central to all of Llyn Peninsula, locals helpful and welcoming. Ideal for those wishing to visit castles built by 'Edward I' and Welsh Princes.

10 to spend a penny !! This afternoon 13th August 2018 my Wife and I took two friends for a walk . From Abersoch to Hells Mouth, onto the Cilan Head, Porth Ceriad and back to Abersoch. On approaching Rhydolion Campsite/ Holiday homes the two ladies ( We are all mid 50,s) needed the toilet. Having visited friends on the campsite before I knew there were toilets and so they walked across the field towards them whilst I and my friend waited at the gate. Within a minute we were approached by a female asking if we were staying on the site and who the two females were walking towards the toilet ( She was also talking Welsh into a mobile phone). We explained at which point she became unfriendly , stating that our Wives couldn't use the toilet and how much they had to pay in bills . Apologies a plenty came from us, especially myself . This didn't change her mood and when asked by my friend how much the charge for the toilet she said 5 . My friend gave her 20 which she said she didn"t have any change and would have to get it from the office, also pointing out we could have asked. I stated that we didn't know who she was or where she was and tried to apologies. Our Wive's returned explaining that they hadn't been able to use the toilet, that the Farmer had banged on the door shouting at them to get out. My Wife said she had begged to use the toilet and was refused even for money, They were then told to go BACK To ABERSOCH ( did he know where we came from), which suggested he didn't like the English.. I said if one of our Wive's had used the toilet would it be 2.50 at which i was told 5 each!!. When my Wife explained they hadn''t used the toilet we asked for our money back, which she gave us. Very Un-Hospitable , No understanding and Rude. Would you want to stay here if you knew what the owners really though!!

We've stayed here three times now and Catherine and John have always been so welcoming and accommodating to us, which makes the previous one star review hard to believe. The accommodation is always in great condition and has wonderful facilities not to mention the games room and kids playground. Location is great, perfect to get to Hell's Mouth. Ideal for a peaceful family holiday, no matter the weather.
