We spent 2 nights camping here last week. The booking was easy with balance transfer the preferred method of payment. Ruth who runs the site is a very pleasant and welcoming lady who obviously cares a lot about the site, as it's well maintained and the toilet/shower block is spotless. There are 6 tent pitches in total, not far from the toilet/shower block and our pitch was easily big enough for our 4m x 5.3m tent and car. The pitch was sheltered by a hedge, the ground was pretty level, not boggy, and easy to peg out, with an excellent sea view. The town is 25 minutes walk and it's a 15 minutes walk inland to the Sun Inn which is a really nice pub. The Vaynol pub was full of friendly locals, served nice food and had the football on TV. Personally, as we don't cook at the tent, I don't think I would come back to Abersoch camping when schools are out, as I hear tales of having to book 5 weeks in advance when eating out, but it's definitely a place I would visit again out of high season.

First time touring in a Motorhome with the family and dogs and wanted somewhere that looked clean and local to beach/town. This was the ideal place, lots of different walks to different beachs (we didnt get to see everywhere as only stairs 2 nights). Facilities are second to none, we couldnt ask for more on a site. Spotless showers/toilets/pot washing/laundrette/kids play area/basically everything..!!! Our pitch was beach view and what a view it was - beautiful, we sat out on the Saturday morning at 7am listening to the lambs and birds whilst admiring the views in the early morning. This takes you away from the hectic work/family life (for a short time). Massive thanks to Ruth for the friendly welcome and giving us some routes to walk to different beachs Will definitely be back again
