I found it at what3words reference ///zest.candidate.retraced Up the path with little green public pathway sign. Its good as a hilly walk on a narrow path through a beautiful woods. Its thick with vegetation so if you want birds you probably need to be good at identifying the calls.

Beautiful walk but unfortunately no birds and a VERY steep uphill climb. The parking is at coordinates 52.7521820, -3.9600704, using Google maps. The walk was a bit misleading. Walk tips: 1. Bare left after the cow gate 2. If you get to a stone sheep hut, you've gone too far and you need to go right before the hut, so you follow the river, rather than crossing it onto the road back to the car. I hope that helps. Signs are a bit hit and miss. Wildlife: There were no birds except a blackbird, but on the steep hill to the beautiful heather covered hill, with the bench with the great view, had loads of lovely crickets, lizards and bumblebees and further on dosile Highland cows. Overall a beautiful walk, but very steep for the first 1.5 hours. Took about 3 hours. Also, beware there were a lot of mosquitoes.
