Very compassionate, helpful chatty professional working in Asda pharmacy now, not seen her before now. She helped me get exactly what I wanted and I left with a smile. Think her name was Louise or Lucy? Lovely customer service

Terrible service. Called there Thursday evening on 3/12/21 and asked politely for a lateral covid test for my mother who is 89 years old and not feeling well all day with a sore throat. Was told by this young girl no and pointing to the notice on the perspex regarding PCR test I said I know that but I'm worried and would like a lateral flow test as my mother is 89 years old and she still refused to give me a kit. Absolutely shocking and I can assure you that I'd never use Asda Pharmacy again. You should be ashamed of your self.

Not quite sure why at least four local guides have left such unhelpful posts. The pharmacist in Asda and the Locum pharmacists have been extremely helpful. While they usually prefer 20 minutes to complete and check larger prescriptions, if you are in a hurry, they will tend to accommodate and do yours first. The pharmacists always let you know if a medication is no longer in use (even if the GP is unaware of this fact and written a prescription any way), or if the medication is due to stop being made by the manufacturers. If the pharmacy don't have an item from your prescription, they will have it by 10am the following morning ready for collection. Unlike some pharmacies who will leave you waiting days. Though some of the staff vary, the ones I've come across have always been friendly, helpful and polite. The pharmacists do rotate in Asda, but this is only due to security and precaution so no pharmacist has constant control over the stock taking, and no mistakes can be hidden.
