The premier Inn was fine, but the pub next door where you get fed was absolutely terrible. A beefeater restaurant where the staff were very friendly but the food was absolutely awful and vastly overpriced. The hot chocolate was sugarless and cool in a latte glass. The starter of prawn cocktail which had half a finger roll of bread and enough butter for at least 4 rounds of bread?. The main course was a processed chicken slice with one piece of bacon that was burnt to a crisp with chunky chips and a half spoon of coleslaw. It took 6 minutes to eat from start to finish, and all this for the princely sum of 23.30 I could have made all that for less than 15. Needless to say, I will not be returning and warn others not to eat there. it's a complete rip-off. After the appalling meal, I had a breakfast booked but did not bother going Nearby activities: Do not eat at the beefeater

I visited Premier Inn Llanelli Central East recently for a few days with my two sons. The hotel itself was lovely, very clean, helpful staff and a friendly atmosphere. The only drawback (hence the lower score on location) was the Beefeater next door. Whilst most of the staff were friendly at the Beefeater, it seemed very much stretched for staff numbers. One evening we were shown to our seats by a gentleman in chef whites? Another evening, our waiter was both that and barman, spending most of the evening run off his feet. The choice of food was at times quite poor with lack of eggs one morning (I understand this with the current egg situation) and one evening we had a whole list of foods not available due to difficulty with deliveries. The staff were also not great with my need of gluten free options (I'm a celiac), even handing me their folder of food intolerances on more than one occasion. I had checked online but wanted to make sure with my servers who unfortunately weren't sure themselves. Maybe a little more training for staff would be helpful.
