Paying in USD cheques, no tills open, when someone came couldn't find the forms! Left with them to process when forms delivered. However two assistant there to help customers use the cash machines.

Standard Barclays with all their usual services. Staff are keen and friendly, some times a queue at busier times. But this is my local Branch and if you bank with Barclays a must get to know venue Lay out is spacious good for wheel chairs and does the job.

Im currently losing the Will to live, waiting in the Llanelli branch for the second time this week, last time we were here for an hour. Presumably the ridiculous lack of staff is to get customers used to a lack of service before they finally shut down the branch completely, like every other bank. Please note Barclays and co, not everyone has online banking and there are some people who wouldnt be able to, like my elderly blind father. Get a grip banks.

Nothing against the staff of Barclays or my local branch but we have all seen some of the devastating effects of climate change on the news; fires, floods and landslides, leading to human suffering. The rate of destruction of nature by large conglomerates is not stopping and we are losing important parts of our planet's ecosystems at a very high rate. Scientists call this the 6th largest mass extinction event. These ecosystems support our food systems (and oxygen)! Unfortunately, Barclays is, to this day, still acting as one of the climate action delayers, only thinking of short-term profits! Is this strategy viable in the long-term? In case you are not aware of the details of Barclays ecocidal investment regime, Ive included some information below: Since the Paris Agreement in 2016, Barclays have supplied 105bn in finance for fossil fuel projects, including 20bn in 2020 alone. In 2015, the government signed the Paris Climate agreement committing to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees. Since then, Barclays financing of fossil fuels has increased, not decreased. Unlike some other banks, Barclays has set no final exit date for coal; in fact, between 2018 and 2020, it was the fifth largest lender in the world to the coal industry. This is incompatible with the governments commitments made at COP26.
