Absolutely Perfect for us and our two elderly border terriers Daisy and Dolly. Peaceful, quiet and everything as described on the website, truly dog friendly and very welcoming. We booked the Byre, probably the best and cleanest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Very very well equipped, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We are hoping to return next year for 2 weeks, something we have never done before, we were so satisfied. Highly recommended. Julie and Mick you have got it right and you are so welcoming Thank you so much..

First time here with family and dog. Picked as very pet friendly. Lovely accommodation, good quality with enclosed garden and dog paddock for safe off lead exercise and games. Owners Mick and Julie are so nice - around should you need them, but discrete and respectful of privacy. 25 mins from Cei Bach - great dog friendly beach near New Quay, and 5 mins from woodland walks. 5 min drive from Llandysul which has all the basics - food shops, petrol station, a few pubs/restaurants etc. Also a great riverside walk. One of the few places that I have found truly dog friendly.

We stayed in the Mill last week and we were disappointed at having to take our own bedding including duvets and pillows and our own towels including tea towels. These items should be quite easily washed by the cottage owner taking Covid precautions. (Duvets and pillows could have had protectors) The guest washing machine had been used by the cleaner for her mops and dish clothes which meant our washing was covered in dog hairs etc. An extra unwanted job for when we got home. The downstairs bed has a piece of wood in the middle holding it together, the bath and shower do not have a handrail ( very dangerous) and the expelair does not work. As for the WiFi it is quite fast when you can get on but it keeps dropping out also very annoying. We were told by Michaels wife that he was away, otherwise we would have discussed everything with him as we didnt want to upset her as she hadnt been well. I did email Michael and he implied mine was the only complaint he had ever received, hard to believe but apart from 1 the other reviews are all historic ( like the instructions he gave to the forest walk ) saying turn at the orange house, well it may have been orange a while ago and quite distinctive but it isnt now! We didnt feel it was value for money for the above reasons who wants to take duvets, pillows and towels for 4 people when it isnt strictly necessary?
