St Tyrnog's Church in Llandyrnog is a seemingly ambiguous church however the interior is kinder on the eye and the east gable features a "Seven Sacraments" Window dating from about 1490. The window is the only remaining one of its kind in Wales, and only 8 in England St.Tyrnog was reportedly a 6th century monk whose brothers were of St. Marcella of Denbigh and St. Deifar of Bodfari. According to Coflein, the authoritative online catalogue of archaeology, buildings, industrial and maritime heritage in Wales, the current structure dates from the 15th Century and enjoyed a comprehensive renovation in the late 1870's.
