Really great site and the owners are so helpful .Richard provided us with a hand drawn map for walking from the campsite. There are bird boxes up and for people who enjoy wildlife, there are Nuthatches and Treecreepers on the campsite and we were lucky enough to see a fox. Would definitely come again.

Spotlessly clean amenities. Beautiful, peaceful location with mountain views to die for, nestling in the Clwydians. We stayed for a weekend as there was a beer festival in the fantastic real ale pub down the road, in Llangynhafal. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Nearest town, Denbigh is 4 miles away. It has a castle and nice cafes and shops, including a great deli and coffee shop, two excellent butchers and a bakery. There's a Lidl, Aldi and Morrison's. Fantastic walking and cycling country. Offas Dyke path not very far away. Richard and Julie are lovely people and helpful. You can buy fresh milk and eggs from the horse box opposite the entrance. The portaloo is the cleanest I've ever seen! No shower block, but we have a shower in the van. We will definitely return. NB this site is a Camping and Caravanning Club site, so you have to be members.
