Stephen took my friend and I up Yr Wyddfa back in November 2022. It was my first time climbing a mountain and first time in Eryri so I wanted to make sure we had someone with us who was experienced and knew the area. Stephen was fantastic, he is a wealth of knowledge of the mountain but also of welsh legends and language. Had a great time and he gave such helpful tips for getting us up there. It was the first snow of the season and it was incredibly helpful having Stephen there to guide us through the ice and snow. Would absolutely recommend him and Anelu Aim Higher. Diolch Stephen!

Stephen was absolutely fantastic as a coach, giving me a lot of confidence and ensuring that I can now go off on my own to start enjoying mountaineering safely. I have just come back from a mountain skills weekend in Snowdonia. We were very fortunate with the weather, although very cold plenty of snow, personally for me it was a challenge and great feeling of accomplishment. Stephen was an excellent instructor and has an excellent way of putting things across and a great manner of making things enjoyable. I would certainly recommend to anyone who wants to do a mountain skills course, at any level.
