Nick and Jo were incredibly fast and were able to even design our product from a rough mockup in a day. Came in exactly on budget which was cheaper and faster than others. We only had a week and they beat expectations. They were happy to make alterations as we went and kept us informed the entire process via whatsapp. Could not reccomend highly enough Finish is perfect and professional, and we'll definitely be using them again for any of our fabrication needs. For reference it started off as a one off test drinks container and we have now ordered 8 more. Friendly, professional, fast, and affordable. What's not to love.

This was my first experience with Raven's Way - here are the main points of my experience and some photos of the piece they made for me. Ravens Way (RW hereafter) dont charge full sheet for smaller pieces. They will deal with non-business individuals. They offer advice on material choice if needed. They were able to use a DXF file created in LibreCAD in Linux, so you dont necessarily need expensive software to produce files for them to work with. I dont know whether thats absolutely true there may be differences in the DXFs produced by LibreCAD. Quick delivery. Courier was at my door at 0735ish if the courier gives you an early morning window theyre not joking! The piece was supplied unfinished, or mill finished. I intend to paint it so never asked about finishing. Well worth asking about their powder coating service Ive never tried painting Aluminium before and have bought the primer and everything but it looks like it can be tough to get right. This is my first attempt to get something from a CNC house and I didnt know what finishing options the house might be able to provide. I did the countersinking myself since I didnt know how deep Id want them. There were no rough edges or corners and also no burrs that Ive encountered so far, Id happily recommend their work to anyone looking for some CNC work. (Edit to insert forgotten text) They seem genuinely nice people and it's been enjoyable dealing with them. Very courteous and helpful with suggestions for someone like me who's new to the CNC stuff :) I wanted to include the DXF with the photos for anyone to use if they wanted but Google wont upload that format. A final note this wider top renders the spindle provided for a chuck to use the tool as a desk polisher (wheels supplied) or grinder (buy your own wheels) inaccessible. I dont knowwhether the best solution is just to switch the tops if required or cut out room for the chuck and wheels.

Great service, excellent packaging, speedily delivery and superb products. We ordered a fire pit from these guys and it is absolutely stunning. Subsequently, we needed a piece of sheet metal cut and moulded in a particular way for our barbecue and, after discussion with Nick, exactly the right item arrived in the post two days later. It slotted into the barbecue like a dream. Its a pleasure doing business with Ravens Way Metalworks and we recommend them without hesitation.
