Went there yesterday to do a collage for my parents anniversary, need it but Wednesday. He said fine come back in 20 mins or more the longer the better. We came back in 30 mins. He went back on the machine and said oh someone has been on here and it's all gone. Not best pleased but they lost 110 This was now 4pm on a Friday but luckily we made it to perma prints in Rhyl by 5 with much better service and 40 cheaper should have gone there to start with. Better to stay local. Could have been left in the lurch.

My family and I are Americans and we were recently in Llandudno on holiday. I was in need of a passport photo (my passport had been stolen the night before in London), so my husband did some research about where to procure a passport photo and came across Max Spielmann in the Asda store. Once we arrived at Asda, we were directed to the photo center and told to talk to Becky. Becky was AWESOME! We were obviously in a frustrating situation and we didn't know how getting a passport photo in a different country than our own would work out (photo requirements are different in our country than in Wales). Additionally, if you're American, you'll likely be familiar with the passport photo process, where the technician takes one photo of you and it may or may not be satisfactory. You are then hereby sentenced to ten years of having a terrible photo represent you on your passport, unless you happen to be a model by trade (or lucked out). I'll use this opportunity to repeat that Becky was awesome. She first verified the US requirements and then took SEVERAL photos of me in order to get the best one for my emergency passport. She was so kind and thorough, gave us the attention we needed, and helped us get a really great photo (that was, by the way, accepted by the US Embassy). Not only all of this, but when we visited approximately 9 days later to get something printed, she remembered us and asked about our passport situation, making sure that everything worked out okay. She's a fantastic addition to the Max Spielmann family and deserves recognition.
