OUCH!!! Be careful: in my opinion, the bike that Bike Hire Llandudno gave me was unsuitable and unsafe. I am an experienced city cyclist, but had never tried an e-bike so I hired one for an afternoon. Unfortunately, something went very wrong coming down a steep road and I came off, breaking my elbow and wrist. I am not convinced the tyres and/or rim-brakes were up to the job. Very disappointed in the response from the owner, Louise, who assumed it was my fault. Worryingly, the bike was later hired out to others without detailed inspection. I queried this and only then did Beics get an "independent" inspection that (surprise) said the bike was fine. Hmm... how independent was a 10 check done by the shop that shares premises with the hire shop?! I had to replace helmet and torn cycle jacket and (after an extended exchange of emails) was offered just 50% compensation. What should have been a fun first outing on an e-bike ended with a visit to A&E and several weeks being severely incapacitated. Take care!!

Really friendly staff, uncomplicated and quick rental of a decent bike. Even gave us route recommendations.

We hired bikes from here yesterday and cycled along Cycle route 5 through Rhos on Sea towards Colwyn Bay and back again. There are lots of routes to choose from and the Bike shop can help plan one. The bike center is really accessible to get onto the seafront which was important to us as we had children on bikes. The equipment was well maintained and lots of choice for helmets etc. Would definitely recommend and will be hiring again next time we are out this way, perhaps trying their electric bikes next time.
