The Moorfield Hotel

I paid 300 after the discount for 4 nights. We arrived at the hotel around 11pm. The hotel owner was not able to greet us at this time and personally hand over the keys to the room. The keys were placed in a locker. We were disappointed after seeing the room ... In the pictures the rooms looked different, they were in better condition .. We paid 75 a night and we got literally a small room with no toilet and not very good condition. I would like to add that for the entire 4 days we have not been able to meet anyone from the hotel staff to report our dissatisfaction. Every morning, other residents of the hotel were collecting rubbish in front of the rooms, which was also not comfortable for us. When you leave the room, the first thing you see is the smelly things of the neighbors ... Another thing is the shared toilet with other residents .. You had to travel a long distance to get to the toilet, which was also not in good condition. Next think for 4 days, no one tried to replace our towels. Unfortunately, when leaving the hotel, no one was able to pick up the keys ... We were forced to leave the keys on the table in the hall ...I am of the opinion that information about the condition of the rest of the rooms should be made available on the booking website so as not to confuse people. Not having a toilet in the room and using one with other residents is more like a hostel than a hotel with 3 stars?

Really friendly owner who's great for a chat. Rooms are nothing special but are comfortable and nice. For the price it is definitely worth it and the service can't be faulted. We brought bikes and the owner let us keep them in the back yard which was very kind. All in all, an excellent choice for a B&B!
