Upon arrival.......
Spotlessly clean rooms, with incredible touches to make you feel extra welcome (biscuits with hot chocolate for my daughter). Luxurious soft towels aplenty. Comfortable beds and pillows to accommodate all ages. The rooms are cosy, quiet and immaculately clean.
In the morning.......
Mouthwatering breakfasts await the hungry guest, who can peruse the menu the day before.
A variety of cooking methods available for the breakfast: poached or scrambled eggs as opposed to the usual fried were most welcome. Delicious juicy mushrooms and even extra slices of toast with local preserves = yummy. Excellent vegan options with scrumptious grilled tomatoes too! All of this to be washed down with delicious tea or coffee and fresh fruit juices!
It was a pleasure to stay in the Cesar Lodge and I do hope to be able to go back again some day.
