We chose a very basic package of the teepee variety at the Hay on Wye festival. Freddie personally took care of everything for my family and I. The accommodation was exactly what we expected from his communication; the food was lovely; atmosphere friendly; and facilities were great too. I'd love to go back again soon.

Brilliant experience with Fred's Yurts. I had originally ordered two large bell tents but due to COVID restrictions, Fred and the team kindly let us swap the booking to their marquee despite my last minute request. Despite being in their busiest season, Fred and his team managed to get the marquee to us which was perfect. Really great service and value for money.

As an early 60s year old woman, I took a deep breath and booked Hay Festival (for Natural Navigator). I took an even deeper breath and booked a tent with Fred's Yurts rather than B & B. I was the only woman on my own, and probably the oldest person, but I was made welcome. The next year I booked a yurt with Fred for Hay. Fred, you and your people are brilliant, and make inclusion for all of us seem so easy. Not one eyebrow raised at my age or walking stick. And the yurt was amazing...and the food...perfect poached eggs... Looking forward to being able to book again with you. Hay 2022 perhaps?! Thanks to all of you.

Contacted Fred three days before the August bank holiday for 2 x 5 m Bell tents. Despite the short notice and being fully booked, we had several phone calls over two days until he finally called (as he said he would) and told me he would be able to provide them. Dave delivered and put up the tents himself in a couple of hours, with Daisy the terrier (a huge hit with everyone), then collected them two days later. Tents were ideal, with mattresses provided, all clean and well organised. Would have no hesitation in recommending this company - straightforward and reliable people to deal with. Carl

Still awaiting refund of money taken out of my account after festival cancelled. Poor communication and repeatedly broken promises. Avoid.
