Been coming here for about 4 years. Very friendly and very welcoming. Always cuts my hair exactly as I ask. Gives advice on haircare and a relaxing environment. Great salon.

I booked a haircut at cutting edge based on good reviews...big mistake! When I got there the salon was filthy. I had booked a cut and blow-dry so cue my utter shock when the hairdresser sat me down, asked what I wanted and then proceed to hack into my dry, unwashed hair. What resulted was the *worst* haircut of my life. Uneven, big chunks missing, and about 4 inches shorter than I asked for because she couldn't get the sides equal and had to keep cutting it shorter and shorter to even it out. You know, like when you tried to cut your own fringe when you were 12. It was terrible. Truly could have done a better job myself at home with a mirror and a pair of kitchen scissors. I was extra devastated because it had taken me five years to grow my hair out after losing it all and now it's ruined Giving one star because, on the plus side, it was only a tenner! A tenner?! Bloody strange experience and I won't be going back. EVER.
