The venue was the North Sea around Whitley Bay and Cullercoats, I learnt so many good things over the last 2 days and also got rid of a few bad habits i have picked up over my years of paddling, was also great to put some names and tweak the skills on techniques i had taught myself over the years.
Thankfully I passed the course and I am now British Canoeing Certified 3 Star for Sea Sit-on kayaks in the sea, very happy about that and i feel much more confident in that environment as a result, i've many years of paddling experience but it is mostly freshwater and i have been keen to expand my hobby to the ocean safely and competently, this is a nice step forward in that direction.
Looking forward to joining Rich down in Anglesey, Wales in the near future to advance my paddle skills and sea competence even further.
Thanks everyone who was involved in this, it was brilliant.
