Lovely weekend at Tre-Ysgawen Hall. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Spa is great, warm, relaxing and a nice size pool. Thermal, sauna and jacuzzi are excellent! Room was good too. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent too. The hotel informed us of difficulties with staffing and evening meals werent available. Theres plenty of local pubs and restaurants only a short 15-20 drive away. The mens spa changing room had some minor decorative and maintenance issues, but nothing to put off staying. If youre looking for a relaxing weekend away at a spa, Id happily recommend.

We just stayed at this hidden gem. I felt sad seeing what obviously was an amazing hotel that was thriving pre covid, become so very quiet. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was slightly dated but its what you expect for an older hotel with charm. Excellent sized space with a large bathroom and big bed. The Spa was a treat, clean and quiet with access to a jacuzzi, sauna, pool and thermal suite. Breakfast was superb! I am really fussy about scrambled eggs but they got them right with the most delicious bacon. Most of the hotel has been closed off and they have 10 rooms operating. We found the massive billiards room with a snooker table. You can tell this hotel is a special place that needs just a bit of a facelift. Please support Welsh tourism and this beautiful hotel! We really enjoyed our stay!
