Erw Glas Campsite

This gorgeous site is an absolute gem, super clean, plenty of room, amazing power showers, free range chickens, a natural play area for kids, a shop. Everything you need and ran by a lovely family. There's so much to do nearby, you'll be spoilt for choice. Highly recommend a visit, we'll definately be back soon! Nearby activities: Bodnant Gardens is a 5 minute drive. It's gorgeous there.

Just got back from our stay at Erw Glas Campsite and we had a wonderful time. It was quiet at the site but it is February. There were only 2 showers but they were very good powerful and hot. The toilets and showers are modern and clean and the washing up and bins area are well organised, clean and tidy. Super friendly managers and great soap and loomband sales from the kids (Thanks Emily!). The grounds are well kept and there's a few rope swings for the kids and pretty good for a game of hide and seek. The reception has a few essential items too which would have been handy had we ran out. The site is quite close to Conwy and Llandudno so there's plenty of things to do locally I can't fault the site itself as its fantastic but I will say that if you are a light sleeper, do take some earplugs! The site is right next to the A470 with a train line at the opposite end and there are quite a few chickens and a couple of cockerels that think 4am is the perfect time to do the wake up call! Our 2 boys slept through as did my husband but I am the light sleeper and struggled. Got some earplugs on night 2 and slept like a baby! Maybe you could stock a few packs of earplugs in the reception shop for those who struggle to sleep? Thanks for the lovely stay and we hope to see you again soon!
