Food was amazing. I mean top quality food and well presented. Ciders were a bit expensive but the food made up for it. Generius filling portion sizes and they tasted bloidy amazing. The experiemce was amazing until I went to the bathroom... toilet is damaged, mould all over the place, cob webs and spiders... some things need work doing and general maintenance. Never stayed at the hotel but had numerous meals, mostly Sunday lunches. Great place to eat with lovely views of the garden and always well presented and good food. :-) I wrote the original review a few years ago.. just as an update, I had the pleasure of revisiting the restaurant last night ( 25/03/23) and the meal was as good or even better than the previous times. So many vegetables and the portions were really good.. loved it ..

Stayed here for 1 night for a six o'clock start Sunday morning. Stayed in Room 5, above the room is another room with a jacuzzi which switched on sounds like a generator in your room below. Told the manger, response was " hopefully will turn off soon" Midnight when it went quite. Definitely would never return and also been taken off our work recommendations.
