Great location for all local bits n bobs, plenty of places to eat and drink, and buy food &g. Groceries ...etc out and about in the small village without needing a car.
Ignore the neighbour opposite if he comes out to stand in his doorway and stare at you, Ive been informed hes of a kind heart and truly loves the influx of new faces and visitors to the area. I tried waving cheerfully but to no avail.
Walking distance to the base of Snowdon if youre thinking of going up.
Also close to load of other lovely places in
Snowdonia if you fancy some day trips in the car
Parking is what youd expect from a welsh village on a hill - tight, but nothing you prob arent used to if youve lived in
a village or city. mentioned for you outer city suburb types with a double drive and a garage at home, and a private secure parking space at work. Yeah you, the parking is going to challenge your 3D space perception.
Be considerate, especially of local residents spaces and tuck in nice and close to the kerb / front wall of the house - theres a very high chance a bin lorry will want to get down the middle and wont care much for your wing mirrors .
May not be suitable for those with very young children as it is set over three floors Townhouse spec. top floor being bedrooms, middle living room & bathroom, while the basement was the kitchen.
I think there are a couple of wooden stair gates, but perhaps for show or for animals that will see a boundary but not test it.
No match to a one year old I can tell you, who put himself in constant danger of a short trip down the stairs and was almost magnetically attracted to hanging out by the top of any of the staircases with gleeful abandon.
Not something that occurred to me living in a flat as I do, but perhaps bring your own if youre well equipped.
All in a five star experience - thanks!
PS.
We left our coffee cafetire there by mistake, adding to the already well equipped kitchen. So dont feel youve got to pack one and haul it all the way to snowdonia if youre staying here and fancy a non instant coffee in the morning.
Apologies for length and girth.
